‘Survivor’ Reject Rebecca Wants To Give America A Different ‘View’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Survivor castoff Rebecca Borman realizes the show’s fans saw only one side before she was kicked off this past Thursday (Nov. 16).

She admits: “I’m a talker, but you didn’t see that in my confessionals.”

Borman hopes to give a different view today (Nov. 20) when she cohosts the ABC series, The View, where she works behind the scenes as a makeup artist.

She says the chance to host The View is gratifying, especially since she kept her involvement on Survivor a secret from the entire cast, including fellow former Survivor Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

In her words, “I basically lied to everybody and when it was announced, I sent out an e-mail to everyone. Elizabeth immediately left six messages for me, telling me she thought I would do well on the show.”

Borman appreciates Hasselbeck’s support, but says their two stints on the show can’t be compared because “[back then, Survivor] wasn’t as difficult as it is now.”
