Thats what Aurelio Montes, a winemaker in Santiago, Chile, learned when he collaborated with Miguel on a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon called Unico Luis Miguel.
Montes says the singer is very knowledgeable about vino and even came to Chile to personally pick out the grapes used in his wine. He also had particular tastes.
As Montes puts it, [Miguel] told me he wanted a wine that was soft, elegant and easy to drink because most of the time when he drinks wine, its with a woman.
Miguels wine is just now hitting stores and Montes says it wont be sold at the singers concerts because, in his words, Its not a souvenir wine. Its a really good wine.
