‘Men In Trees’ Crew Have To Hide Their Love For Canada

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The folks who make the new ABC sitcom Men In Trees love filming in Canada but admit they have to keep their affection under wraps.

Jenny Bicks, who created the show, says she loves filming in British Columbia, but because the show is set in Alaska, that means the crew has to be extra vigilant about removing Canadian flags so they don’t appear on camera.

Plus, she admits that as a native New Yorker, she’s found Canadians are SO nice, it can be a “little off- putting.”

Still, Bicks hopes to get used to the niceness, because she’d like the series to continue for a few years.

Men In Trees, which stars Anne Heche, airs Fridays.
