Aspiring Pro Golfer Won’t Take A Swing At Career Until Hubby Retires

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An aspiring professional golfer has decided it’s more important to stand by her man than try and make it on the links – even though he can’t hit a golf ball as well as she can.

Karyn Stordahl-Utecht is one of 12 contestants on the Golf Channel series, Big Break VI: Trump National, which debuts tomorrow (Sept. 26).

The former Miss Minnesota says it’s her dream to be a pro golfer, but being on the show has taught her where her priorities lie – and, for now, it’s not on the putting green.

She says she’s decided to throw her support behind her husband, Indianapolis Colts tight end Ben Utecht.

As she puts it, “I’ve been away from him for the last two years and I know he won’t play football forever.”

Of course, one reason why she may be standing by her man is because she’s way ahead of him on the golf course – for now.

She admits: “I can beat him, but he’s so athletically gifted that he’ll give me a run for my money someday.”
