Kids Get A Chance To Monkey Around At ‘Curious George’ Casting Call

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Tiny tots will have a chance to monkey around at a Curious George casting call starting tomorrow (Sept. 23) in eight cities around the country.

Aspiring thespians up to age 12 can audition for a voiceover role in an upcoming animated feature – which may or may not feature a curious monkey named George.

Although George himself will only be making an appearance at the Los Angeles audition, rising stars in cities like Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Phoenix will participate in different “curiosity building” activities – like sing-alongs and drawing contests – and everyone receives a big yellow hat.

What they won’t have to worry about is memorizing lines. Instead those auditioning will answer questions such as: “What makes you curious?” and “Why do you like Curious George?”

The winner will then have a role created around their personality.

Curious George comes out on DVD on Tuesday (Sept. 26).
