Former ‘Apprentice’ Trumpeting Christian T-Shirt Line

FORT WORTH, Tex. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A former Apprentice finalist is now hoping to score a trump card by creating a T-shirt line for Christians.

Tarek Saab is the man behind Lionheart Apparel, a line of T- shirts that feature subtle religious symbology in various styles of crosses, pictures of St. Peter and St. Paul, as well as the Virgin Mary.

Saab figures there are lots of people who are willing to cross his palms with silver to buy the shirts and likens it to “someone who likes the Boston Red Sox and wants to wear a T- shirt with their logo.”

So far, Saab hasn’t asked his TV mentor, Donald Trump, for any advice, but admits he’s picked the brain of some of his fellow applicants on the show, especially Andrea Lake, who built a successful T-shirt business in part because of shirts with slogans like “Smoke Crack And Worship Satan.”

Saab believes there’s room for both extremes in the T- shirt business because, in his words, “People buy T-shirts because they identify with what’s on it.”
