‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Chef Cooking Up World Cup Predictions

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The World Cup heats up in Germany starting Friday (Jun. 9) and it figures to be a hot topic of conversation in most parts of the world.

It’s especially important to TV chef Gordon Ramsay, the cranky star of the Fox reality series, Hell’s Kitchen.

Ramsay is a former professional soccer player who had to quit at the age of 18 because of leg injuries.

Still, that isn’t stopping him from predicting who will win the Cup when the final match is held on July 9.

In his words, “I think the United States has an amazing team. Many of the players play in [England’s] Premier League. And you can never count out England.”

Still, when all is said and done, Ramsay believes the team from the Czech Republic will walk away with the coveted cup.

Ramsay hopes to watch as many of the games as possible but he’ll be pretty busy. The second season of Hell’s Kitchen debuts Monday (Jun. 12).
