SuperMom Doll Pays Homage To Working Moms

TORONTO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When it comes to running a household, many modern-day “SuperMoms” juggle kids with careers, cooking and other chores.

So in honor of these hard-working mothers, toy creator Shirley Yee and her husband Chris created a “SuperMom” doll just in time for Mother’s Day (May 14).

The doll comes with two detachable heads – one “frazzled” and one “happy” – as well as a to-do list, groceries, tennis shoes and a screaming baby.

Although Yee is not a mother herself, she now understands the stress stay-at-home moms go through, after taking care of her 2- year-old nephew.

As she puts it,“I want to show that modern mommies can balance the responsibilities of both a career and kids” and says the only accessory missing from “SuperMom” is a lap top.

Yee may be busy making moms right now, but says she plans on being one in the near future; though she’s content “giving birth to toys” for now.
