Easter Leftovers Make Great Facials

HANOVER, Mass. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’re sick of stuffing your face with Easter leftovers, try putting them on your face instead.

That’s the advice of natural beauty expert Noreen Finneran, who says Mother Nature has lots of foods that are just as good for facials as for feasting.

For instance, cooked potatoes can help blemished or itchy skin, while carrots help the aging epidermis and fresh spring strawberries are also soothing to oily skin.

Meanwhile, Finneran figures mashed-up jelly beans make a sweet sugar scrub but warns against them because of the dyes in the candies.

She also thinks asparagus facials are probably healthy but has never tried them personally because she doesn’t like the smell.

Some Easter treats don’t make good facials at all. Finneran doesn’t recommend rubbing ham on your mug and says eggs are only good if they’re raw.
