Glamour Shots Cop The Feel of S&M Pinup Bettie Page

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – With an innocent smile on her face and a devilish whip her hand, the vintage pinup goddess Bettie Page is making a comeback – in vanity shots taken at an L.A. photo studio called Pink Kitty.

That’s the picture being presented by photographer Lori Mann, who says more women than ever are asking for sessions where they dress up in the classic Bettie Page look: black lingerie, stilettos, whips and retro-cool vintage hair-dos, replete with her signature black bangs.

She says that, “Page is the pinup it’s cool to worship now. She’s got that classic innocence – but with rockabilly style.”

Still, Mann says many younger fans of the look don’t even know the icon who is influencing their photo shoots.

Mann says she expects “another sharp spike in requests” for the Page look once the upcoming movie The Notorious Bettie Page gets wider release.
