Restaurant Chain Hopes Aphrodisiac Menu Keeps ’Em Coming

IRVINE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Valentine’s Day is one of the top business days for restaurants and one southern California-based chain hopes to keep people coming with a special aphrodisiac menu.

Starting Friday (Feb. 10), the Yard House chain will be offering a special menu designed to increase the sex drive.

Don’t worry: The restaurant isn’t using crushed Levitra or Viagra on its dishes.

Instead, the Valentine vittles use herbal aphrodisiacs like fennel, edamame and truffle sauce on dishes like seared scallops and ahi tuna; filet mignon flavored with shiitake mushrooms and asparagus; and a ginger creme brulee.

Yard House executive chef Carlito Jocson says the key to making the most of the meal is to split it with your partner “so you won’t be too full afterwards.”

Jocson has been preparing the aphrodisiac menu for the last Valentine’s Day and says it’s been a hit with customers.

Luckily, no customers have been caught messing around in the booths.
