Making Romantic Comedy A Real Chemistry Class For Soap Actor

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It takes training to be a good actor but it also helps to have an understanding of chemistry.

Actor Matt Cedeno took that lesson to heart while filming a new romantic comedy, Romancing The Bride, with That ’70s Show star Laura Prepon.

Cedeno says that’s why he and Prepon arrived a week early to the film set in Acapulco, Mexico, in order to get prepared and he reveals he really enjoyed working with her because “she’s got a laid-back East Coast vibe and says what’s on her mind.”

While Cedeno’s character ends up with Prepon’s character, the pairing wasn’t as easy as it might look on screen. He says the actor playing Prepon’s former boyfriend also did a good job of creating chemistry so there’s a seed of doubt.

However, Cedeno has a trick he learned while working on Days Of Our Lives. He says when working with a female actress he tries to “go for the gleam in her eye and the rest just follows.”

Romancing The Bride debuts Saturday (Dec. 3) on the Oxygen network.
