Some Johnny Cash Details That Won’t Be In The Movie

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The new Johnny Cash biopic, Walk The Line, starring Joaquin Phoenix, hits theaters on Friday (Nov. 18) but there are some aspects of his life that probably won’t make it past the cutting room floor.

For instance, one of Cash’s prized possessions was a see- through toilet seat filled with barbed wire that he lovingly called his “burning ring of fire.”

Also, Cash may be known for hits like “Folsom Prison Blues” and “I Walk The Line,” but in 1997, he did a rendition of the “Theme To Laverne And Shirley” as part of an ad for the Nissan Altima.

Finally, Bono says he and the other members of U2 once had dinner with Cash, who insisted on saying grace before the meal but felt obliged to say, “Sure miss the drugs, though,” after he was finished.
