Americans Will Wrap 15 Gifts This Christmas

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The season of giving will soon be here but Americans are still looking for an easy way to wrap it up quick.

According to a gift-wrapping survey by Scotch tape, 16 percent admit they won’t purchase a gift for someone if it looks too difficult to wrap and 24 percent buy products simply because they look easy to wrap.

In fact, 32 percent don’t even bother to wrap weird- shaped items – they just put a bow on it and call it quits.

Researchers estimate the average American will wrap 15 gifts this holiday season, and if the wrapping paper runs out, 65 percent will shove the presents in a bag; 35 percent will resort to the comics section of the newspaper and 10 percent will package things up in tinfoil.

Finally, 18 percent of Americans would rather clean the house than wrap gifts; 14 percent prefer shoveling snow and nine percent think taking out the garbage is a better alternative.
