Entrepreneur Hopes To Make Oodles Off Woodles

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An entrepreneur is hoping to make oodles from something called “Woodles”.

Liz Taylor – no, not that Liz Taylor – is the founder of Woodles by Woody, a company that she launched to sell the intricate doodlings of long-time friend and colleague Glenwood L. “Woody” Garvey.

He’s an architect and the inventor of the Self-Cleaning Restroom, but Taylor says she was so fascinated with the doodles Woody would make, mostly while talking on the phone, that she began collecting them.

After 15 years, the whole kit and caboodle of Woodles numbers in the hundreds.

Taylor compares the works of overlapping lines and spatial contortions to clouds, because everybody sees something different in them.

The scribblings are so intricate, it takes Garvey several days to finish some, and, as Taylor puts it, “It’s not a Woodle till Woody says ‘This one’s done.’”
