NFL Players Punishing Tongue For Charity

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – NFL players may not have much in common with competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi, but they’ll be giving their best Kobayashi-like effort and winging it today (Sep. 20) in Minnesota and Denver.

That’s because three players each from the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos will participate in a Buffalo wing eating contest.

The players, which will include Broncos Mike Anderson and Kyle Johnson and Vikings Napoleon Harris and E.J. Henderson, will try to down 12 wings doused in super-hot sauce, being dubbed as the “hottest wing sauce in the world,” in six minutes without any celery, blue cheese or liquid to squelch the heat.

For each fiery wing sucked bone dry by the fire-breathing players, $100 will be donated to a local charity.
