Color Me Bad: Black And Blue Top Clothing Colors

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Americans love being black and blue – at least where their clothing is concerned.

According to a survey by the May Department Stores Company, blue is the favorite clothing color for 38 percent of Americans while 17 percent love wearing black.

By comparison, only two percent are tickled pink by yellow clothes and one percent enjoy orange-colored clothing.

Other shady stats gleaned from the survey include...

  • Red clothing is most popular in the south while green clothes strike gold in the western U.S.

  • Black is best in the west while blue is most “blue- tiful” to midwesterners.

  • Finally, 11 percent of oldsters enjoy green outfits compared to only four percent of college-age kids.
