Begging For A Job Pays Off For Travel Channel Host

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being cheap is paying off for one Travel Channel host who depends on the kindness of strangers to pay for everything.

Cash Peters is the host of Stranded With Cash Peters, a reality show that features him being taken to undisclosed locations without any cash and being forced to beg for food and accommodations.

Some of the more extreme locales include Ohiapil, Hawaii; Fes, Morocco; Coober Pedy, Australia; and Apoera, Suriname. Peters is pleased to discover that, as he puts it, “Most strangers are helpful. We don’t like to say that but it’s true.”

However, he has learned that the “less people have, the more they give you” and found the citizens of Moscow and the South Pacific island of Tanna to be especially generous.

Peters has filmed 17 episodes and is pleased he hasn’t had any terrible moments, unless you count tearful farewells with his new friends.

Still, there are some locations he doesn’t want to revisit and jokes he never gives his address to the people who help him.

Stranded With Cash Peters debuts July 25.
