20 Percent Of American Workers Waste Two Hours A Day Online

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Got a lot of time on your hands? You do if you’re an American worker.

According to a survey by Yahoo! Shopping, 38 percent spend at least an hour of each work day goofing around online and 20 percent spend at least two hours during their shift online for “personal reasons.”

Luckily, 29 percent say their bosses don’t mind them checking e-mail or shopping while on company time and 11 percent say their boss spends even more personal time online than they do.

However, six percent say their boss would fire them if they knew how much time they do spend online for personal reasons.

As far as internet time-wasters go, 29 percent say checking e- mail is the best while 14 percent play computer games at work and 12 percent shop online.
