Guitar Artist Strumming Her Portfolio

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A guitar artist is striking a chord with music fans.

The “guit-artist” goes by the name Pamelina H. and has been designing and painting fantasy style artwork on musical instruments since 1986 when she painted a friend’s guitar. Since then her business has taken off.

Most of the time when she paints a guitar she doesn’t know where it ends up, but some of her $30,000 pieces have been bought by rockers from Motley Crue, Poison, Soundgarden and Def Leppard.

She does take special requests like the time Tommy Lee needed her in an emergency to fix a drum set which another artist botched.

Pamelina painted for 36 hours straight, and rushed the drums to the airport as Lee was leaving for a festival in Moscow.

These days, her artwork is about to get even more trippy. She’s been asked to paint a line of psychedelic Fender Stratocaster guitars which should come out later this year.
