Brit Seeks Yanks’ Opinions About England

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The British aren’t all bad teeth and awful food – or are they?

British journalist Simon Kerr is seeking feedback from Americans on their impressions of the British for an upcoming book titled Americans On Britain.

Kerr wants to see what kinds of conclusions Americans have drawn about Brits, even if they’ve never been to England.

Let’s hope they’re not all like the impressions of one young man in New York who wrote to Kerr: Britain: Bad food, lousy weather, spot o’ tea, Mary F’ing Poppins, you know – Britain.

Some Yanks have told him they want to see the royals dethroned and the country turned into a republic, while others are raving about Britain’s medical system and their ban on handguns.

Kerr says no one has brought up Brits’ bad teeth yet, although he thinks that myth is partially true.
