George Thorogood Makes As Many Notes On Paper As On Guitar

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Blues guitarist George Thorogood is known for his guitar notes but he makes just as many notes on paper.

Thorogood says he takes his live performances so seriously that he makes notes after every show “on why it went well or why it didn’t.”

He says that’s the only way to ensure quality control and figures what he does isn’t any different than any other businessman who wants to keep raking in the dough.

Expect Thorogood to take lots of notes in the coming months. He starts a big North American tour on May 12 to honor his 30th year in the business.

But when he isn’t making notes on paper or guitar, don’t expect to see him out and about in each city. In his words, “I need my rest. I can’t be going to the zoo or a ball game. I’m not a tourist. I’m a traveling working stiff.”
