Songwriter Sings The Praises Of Pope John Paul II

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A songwriter is noting the life of Pope John Paul II with a new tribute song.

Los Angeles-based musician Adrian says he was first inspired by the Pope when his Holiness visited Los Angeles in 1987. Adrian says he saw on TV an armless man play the guitar with his feet for the Pope, and then the Pope kissed the man’s feet.

He says that moment was “very inspiring” seeing the man’s love for his guitar and his Pope that it launched Adrian down his musical career

Adrian’s song, “Will You Believe,” doesn’t refer to that moment, but he says it “talks about our faith in knowing that someday we will meet up again with loved ones,” with lyrics like...

Some had dreams, others share in mine/ Where do I stand?/ Where does the answer lie?/ To ease the mind and save the soul from endless pain.

Adrian isn’t sure if the next Pope will inspire him as much. He says, “Only time will tell.”
