At least one San Diego Starbucks in the busy hospital neighborhood of Hillcrest will begin running mochas and lattes to customers in a one city-block radius between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Customers will phone in their orders and there wont be any additional cost for the caffeine delivery service.
Store manager Edward Camarillo says it will likely come in handy for emergency room workers who cant step away from the ER for even a minute. He asks if you were at the hospital would you want them a minute late?
Although the service begins April 1, Camarillo says its no April fools joke.
