Leaving Town For A Spell? ‘Witch’ Items Should You Take?

BOSTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When you’re a witch about to leave town for a spell, which items should you pack?

Well, according to Vermont-based wiccan Cal Garrison, the well-traveled witch never leaves home without an Altoids tin filled with some bewitching basics such as musk oil, a quartz crystal, black thread, birthday candles, matches and Post-It notes.

The musk oil is good for spells for money, love and banishing while the crystal helps a person concentrate on what they’re casting.

The matches and candles are also good for spells and Garrison says writing down the incantation on the Post-It and tying it up with the string helps manifest the desire.

Although the portable spellcasting kit is meant to be discreet, if someone sees it and suspects you’re a witch, Garrison recommends saying you’re a big fan of the TV show, MacGyver.

Garrison is the author of a new book, Witch On The Go (Red Wheel).
