Beauty Expert Recommends Rubbing Papaya And Baking Soda On Face

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Beauty has its price but it doesn’t have to be expensive.

That’s according to Los Angeles-based model and beauty expert Louisa Maccan-Graves, author of a new book, Hollywood Beauty Secrets: Remedies To The Rescue (Bella Publications).

She says some of the best beauty treatments are also the cheapest. For instance, she says it’s a waste of money to pay $125 for microdermabrasion treatments when rubbing a handful of wet baking soda on your face is just as effective.

Maccan-Graves also figures rubbing a piece of papaya peel on the face – which costs only $2 – is just as good as an $85 enzyme peel at a fancy spa.

That’s not all: She says rinsing your teeth in distilled water and hydrogen peroxide whitens them as well as expensive bleaching treatments and rubbing Chap-Stick on the knuckles can make your liver-spotted hands look years younger.
