Sassy Jewish Grandparents Save Library
These elders -- known as `The OGs' -- actually know how to use the Internet to get ahead.

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A pair of sassy Jewish grandparents are taking to the Internet to save their local library.The “OGs,” or “original grandparents,” are Barbara and Harry Cooper who’ve lived in the Boyle Heights section of Los Angeles for nine decades.
They’re unhappy about L.A. mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s budget cuts affecting local public libraries, and have taken to their video blog to give him a good tongue lashing.
Their granddaughter Kim Cooper believes Villaraigosa could learn a thing or two from her grandparents’ knowledge and wisdom.
In the video, Barbara insists that keeping libraries alive is extremely important for the local culture because future generations can greatly benefit and learn from them.
She says that her own children loved the library and often ran off to spend hours there.
Losing the library would only encourage children to read less and Barbara feels there are other places where the mayor could “cut the fat.”
