`Idol' Reject Is No Crybaby

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The latest singer booted from American Idol swears she’s no crybaby.Didi Benami, who often teared up on Idol, was voted off this past Wednesday (Mar. 31) and she’s crying over the way she came across on camera.
Benami promises she isn’t nearly as emotional as portrayed on TV, it’s just that every time she happened to break down, a lens caught the action.
She says, “It sucks. I was actually pretty strong during this whole thing.”
Despite her Debbie Downer rap, things are looking up for Benami.
She’s excited about going on the Idol tour this summer and not having to wait tables in Los Angeles anymore, the unstable gig she’s had for years.
At one point, she even lived out of her car but with a music career in the works, those days are gone.
Idol airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays on FOX.
