Alice Finds Wonderland In Potholes

MONTREAL (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Forget rabbit holes, Alice should really watch her step around potholes.New York is truly a wonderland, and its city streets are covered in holes that could easily lead to a magical world.
Photographers Claudia Ficca and Davide Luciano have expanded their photo series, Potholes, which includes unusual uses for potholes, to include glimpses from Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland.
The photos feature Alice running after a rabbit, but using a pothole as the “portal to wonderland.”
The photogs say the Big Apple is the “perfect backdrop” because it’s a “creative wonderland” where artists, musicians, and actors find inspiration and where Alice would find a big adventure.
Finding the perfect pothole model to fill the role wasn’t easy.
Ficca and Luciano searched the streets until they found the right one, and had to take turns behind the camera to make sure the other didn’t get hit by a car.
