Wedding Invites Plant The Seed
Friday, March 5, 2010 17:02 GMT
BOULDER, Colo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) A wedding invitation can really plant the seed for a couples future.Couples set to tie the knot can prove how much their love has grown with Bloomin flower cards, a company that makes wedding invites and other paper products that can be planted.
Each card is made from recycled paper scraps packed with seeds. When buried in soil and watered daily, they yield everything from bright wildflowers to heads of lettuce.
This makes them a lovely symbolic gesture for those getting married.
Spokesperson Abby Simon says, Youre planting seeds for a life together. People can remember the event and get a gift of something beautiful they can incorporate into their lives and watch grow.
Those who receive a card or invite are assured a garden full of beautiful flowers since the company packs each piece of paper with a variety of seeds that can grow pretty much anywhere.
