Cat People Are A Strange Breed

WILMINGTON, N.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Cats are funny creatures, but their obsessed owners are even stranger.In his documentary Cat Show, Madden Meiners unveils the world of cat shows, where feline owners parade their pussies to a panel of judges.
After spending the day at a cat show in Wilmington, North Carolina, Meiners discovered that cat fanatics are truly a strange breed.
He says, “They’re so interesting and have so much enthusiasm for their cats and the competition. Definitely the way they dress is weird. They dress like people who attend cat shows.”
By that, Meiners means sweaters and T-shirts with photos of their cats on them, ties covered with kitties, and overly coiffed hair.
Owners dote so much on their cats that Meiners, a cat owner himself, felt connected to them.
He explains, “I talk to my pet and get him cat toys for his birthday. Every pet owner does that, so I’m not too different.”
