LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Women may hope for jewelry on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14), but end up with a box of chest hair instead.According to a study by the British wedding website, confetti.co.uk, more than 50 percent of women have been disappointed on Valentine’s Day by the lack of thoughtfulness from their man.
Clueless dudes have given their ladies bizarre gifts such as a bunch of plain black socks and a shoebox full of shaved off chest hair.
Some women are lucky if they get anything, as 25 percent of guys have completely forgotten the romantic holiday at some point.
To add insult to, well, insult, 10 percent of women have been dumped on V-Day and almost 40 percent have gotten into a big argument with their partner on the holiday.
Weird Valentine’s Day disasters are also quite common, like the man who borrowed his girlfriend’s car to go buy her flowers, but got into a head-on crash on the way.
