Employees Don't Fit In At Work
Wednesday, January 27, 2010 17:21 GMTCHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) For many workers, the office is like high school all over again: They feel like they just dont fit in.
According to a survey by CareerBuilder, 39 percent of employees dont always vibe with their colleagues.
About 42 percent of women and 37 percent of men claim they dont fit in at work, especially if they have jobs in the health care, sales, business, hospitality, and IT industries.
But its not entirely their fault if theyre outsiders.
Weird workplace behavior often makes people question their current careers and feel out of place.
The craziest things their colleagues have done on the job to make them feel uncomfortable include a co-worker who talks openly about flatulence, a co-worker who wears 3D glasses around the office, and another who whistles eight hours a day.
Then theres the former boss who brought a baby sippy cup to work and drank from it during a meeting.
