‘Loser’ Kicks Nasty Habit

LAFAYETTE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Kicking a serious addiction is tough, especially when it’s so delicious.

Losing weight was a question of life or death for Patti Anderson, who was ousted from The Biggest Loser: Couples this past Tuesday (Jan. 12).

The diabetic saw how her illness had begun to take a toll on her body, and went on the show to get her life back on track.

She says, “I felt I had two feet in the grave. I want to be around to see my daughters’ babies. There’s no choice. It’s time to change my life.”

Thanks to the healthy lessons she learned at the ranch, she was able to break her most addictive habit.

Anderson explains, “The one thing I have to keep out of the kitchen is peanut butter. It’s my sinful pleasure. I can’t have it in the house or else I eat it.”

The Biggest Loser airs Tuesdays on NBC.
