For some people, the Internet is a drug that they just cant stop using, constantly updating their Twitter and spending hours on YouTube.
Patrick Moberg makes the comparison with his series of drawings, Internet Vices, depicting different web pages and their drug counterpart.
He likens Twitter to crack cocaine because, Fþþþing anyone is your friend. Its cheap, short, fruitless.
YouTube is the tequila shot of the web world since you watch one video to humor a friend, but it quickly turns into more and anything and everything becomes wildly entertaining.
Much like a cranberry vodka, Facebook is the ultimate social lubricant. Youre aware of your actions but can excuse them as mindless chatter.
MySpace is a whole other story, though.
Moberg says, Its like huffing spray paint. You will be perceived as having the mindset of a middle schooler, and you probably do.
