Instead of heading to crowded malls for new fashions, Garrison Cohen is urging people to swap, not shop in San Francisco today (Nov. 12) for the Cool Cat Clothes Swap at the Cell Space gallery.
Folks show up with a bag of clothes they no longer want, toss it into a pile, and then get free rein to scavenge the mountain of duds for a whole new wardrobe.
Cohen asks, Do you really want to blow a few hundred dollars on new clothes fresh from the sweatshop when you can get the best selection in one crazy fun night?
Attendees are urged to be ruthless with their closet, getting rid of anything thats hogging up space so they can, find a new owner whos going to love it like you used to.
Cohen assures there wont be ugly threads to pick through since hes invited the most fashionable collection of people he knows.
