Write Novel In Record Time

OAKLAND, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Writing a novel really only takes a few weeks.

Those who want to try writing can now get motivated with the National Novel Writing Month challenge.

At midnight on November 1, around 150,000 writers from all over the world will be poised over their laptops, ready to create a 50,000-word novel in just 30 days.

Founder Chris Baty claims it doesn’t take talent, language skills, academic training, or years of education to write a novel.

In fact, all it takes is a tight deadline and lots of coffee.

Participants should set a minimum amount of work they need to accomplish every day, which is easier said than done judging by the number of people who actually manage to turn in their novel before midnight on November 30.

Though no one may ever read their book, Baty says writing it is a “wonderful way of opening your imagination, and also a good excuse for not doing any dishes for a month.”
