Sculptor Sarah Kaufmann, known as The Cheese Lady, amazes folks with her intricate, large-scale artworks made entirely out of cheddar cheese.
Shes molded everything from animals, the Eiffel Tower, and peoples faces out of the stinky stuff, which takes her between 30 or 100 hours to complete depending on the project.
Kaufmann prefers building with mild cheddar to any other cheese because its consistent and tastes great, but dabbles with cheeses like Gruyere because its beautiful, Colby Jack for making moons, and Pepper Jack when she wants to incorporate color into her sculptures.
When it comes to munching on cheese, however, Kaufmann loves a creamy Gorgonzola, Gouda, and Blue-brie.
Though most of her sculptures are eaten at the events she builds them for, she doesnt mind. A cheese lover once even ran off with a head she sculpted.
