Staying Home In, Trendy Clubs Out

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The trendy club scene is so yesterday – staying home is in.

According to an “Eye On Cool” survey by ROHTO cooling eye drops, 96 percent of adults age 18-34 think “hanging out at home or at a friend’s house” is “cool.”

Only 45 percent think chic clubs are cool, proving that velvet ropes and VIP tables are losing some ground in favor of fun nights in.

Other trends – or non-trends – include...

  • 73 percent of adults think “bars with live bands” are cool, while 56 percent feel the same way about lounges.

  • About six in 10 people, or 62 percent, believe dive bars lack any cool factor. That makes dives even more unpopular than clubs.

Despite where folks end up hanging out, ROHTO drops promise to at least keep their eyes feeling their coolest.
