‘Survivor’ Reject Packs The Pounds

CINCINNATI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Preparing for weeks of starvation can have a bit of a backlash.

To get ready for what she calls the “Survivor diet,” Cincinnati college student Marisa Calihan packed on a few extra pounds to her small frame to ensure she wouldn’t get emaciated while being slowly starved as a contestant on Survivor.

However, being the first one voted off the show last Thursday (Sep. 17) means she came home with a little extra baggage.

Calihan says, “I would eat as much as I could to get weight on my bones and it ended up being a bad idea. I never had the chance to lose the weight with the Survivor diet.”

Despite her surplus pudge, Calihan assures she hasn’t gone on a crash diet to get back to her former size because she’s “totally comfortable with her body.”

In fact, she still eats whatever she wants.

Survivor airs Thursdays on CBS.
