Tony Zini teaches third grade in Huntington Beach, California, and this school year, he plans to make science and math so fun, students will be begging for more homework.
For starters, hell teach about inertia through an egg drop experiment where eggs are placed on an empty toilet paper roll and knocked into cups of water using a broom.
He learned the cool lesson at Mickelson ExxonMobil Teacher Academy, a summer camp for teachers that helps them expand their math and science teaching methods.
Zini says its all about engaging kids in the classroom and letting them test things out for themselves. Check out his YouTube video proclamation: youtube.com/watch?v=kuKlyCdua4M.
As the Most Interesting Teacher Zini claims he can teach everything from how to drive a taxi to potty training, though the latter lesson isnt going over too well with his two-year-old son.
