Random Facts Good To Know

MANCHESTER, England (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Useless facts are good to know.

There’s something to be learned everyday, and LearnSomethingEveryday.co.uk teaches folks the little lessons they can stick in their back pocket to use at any time.

Site co-creator Pete Jarvis finds a fascinating fact, like how blue birds can’t see the color blue or that the Bible is the most shoplifted book in the world, and draws pictures to accompany the tidbit.

Users have even started sending in factoids, which has made Jarvis’ job much easier.

However, he admits he’s “not always sure if they’re real or not,” but tries to do a little “background check” to make sure he’s not spreading lies over the Internet.

Jarvis says learning and memorizing random facts can make great conversation, though he’s not sure if they’ll “make you look smarter or more stupid,” depending on the validity of the claim.
