At the 14th Annual Drag King Contest this Saturday (Aug. 15) in San Francisco, 10 ladies will strut their studly stuff dressed as men in a quest to be crowned the manliest Drag King in the Bay City.
Event spokesperson Fudgie Frottage says it takes a real male attitude along with a totally believable boy look to win the prestigious title.
He adds, The facial hair is important. Some people just do sideburns, others go with a full ZZ Top beard. But really, the people are judged on their talent and studliness.
To get the full male effect, Frottage says contestants bind their boobies down and stuff socks down their pants, and with some, you really cant tell the difference.
But the thing that truly separates the men from the boys is stage presence, because the ones who dazzle with their dude-like voice and know how to work their male assets always win.
