New Yorks Penn Fleming matchmaking service is setting singles on a hunt for love with their Chance Encounters event this Friday (Jul. 31) at the Rubin Museum of Art, armed with nothing but a T-shirt for reeling in potential suitors.
Participants are given a colored-coded shirt, which reveals their age bracket, with either an A or B written on it A being for women and B for men.
They are then sent off to tour the museum and must introduce themselves to every person of the opposite sex also wearing one of the T-shirts.
Spokesperson Corinne Innis describes it as a human scavenger hunt that forces people out of their comfort zone and say hello.
By making the love search a game, Innis says it helps people feel brave enough to get out of the house and at least try.
She has high hopes for a perfect match.
