According to Fandango.com, the nations leading movie- ticketing destination, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince could take the opening day crown from last summers blockbuster, The Dark Knight.
The highly-anticipated Harry Potter flick out tomorrow (Jul. 15) accounts for 96 percent of daily ticket sales on Fandango, making it the companys third biggest advance ticket-seller.
Harry Medved, of Fandango, says its on track to match or surpass The Dark Knight, and figures the films PG rating opens it up to a wider family audience.
Additionally, the sixth Harry Potter movie is giving Twilight a run for its money.
Its already outpaced the vampire flick in advanced ticket sales, and 67 percent of movie buffs have dubbed leading lady Emma Watson a sexier heroine than Twilights Kristen Stewart.
