According to Fandango.com – the nation’s leading movie-ticketing destination – 84 percent of fans would still be interested in seeing Transformers 3, even if Megan Fox did not appear in it.
Though 36 percent of folks dub Fox the sexiest woman at the movies this summer, the robots may be the real stars of her blockbuster franchise.
Harry Medved, of Fandango.com, says that while Fox “adds fuel to the fiery passion of Transformers fans,” she’s not quite as critical to the plot as the film’s main star Shia LaBeouf.
Regardless, 47 percent of fans are still most excited to see her in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, out tomorrow (Jun. 24).
Fandango reports that midnight screenings are completely sold out in cities like New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles, with some theaters continuing to add 3:45 AM and 4 AM showings to meet the demand.
