Josh Dorfman hosts the Sundance Channel series The Lazy Environmentalist, premiering tomorrow (Jun. 16), where he goes around greening lazy people by showing them how easy it is to be environmentally conscious.
According to Dorfman who insists hes not a hippie treehugger a simple household task like swapping out a wasteful showerhead for a low-flow one helps the Earth.
Plugging appliances into a single power strip and turning off the strip when things arent in use is also green-friendly.
He taught this technique to his lazy brother and made it even easier for him by including a remote control with the power strip.
Dorfman knows people are busy and hate being inconvenienced so simple methods are key.
He swears by services like chegg.com which rents textbooks to college students and bagborrowsteal.com, which rents luxury purses, because they save people money and reduce environmental impact since no new materials are produced or consumed.
