James stars in the action packed reality series Jesse James Is A Dead Man Sundays on Spike, where he takes on death- defying stunts like riding a motorcycle 125 miles in minus 60- degree weather across the Ice Highway in subarctic Canada.
Though he often asks himself “What the fþck am I doing?” James says the stunts are too fun to pass up, which often leaves his wife, actress Sandra Bullock a nervous wreck.
He says, “I didn’t ask for permission to do any of this, I just did it. She worries, but as long as I come home safe, she’s cool with it.”
However, to spare Bullock sleepless nights and himself an ear- lashing, James lives by the old adage Ignorance Is Bliss.
He says, “If I told her what I was doing on the show, it’d be a big argument, so I just don’t tell her.”
