Now through June 15, D23 the official community for Disney fans is asking fans to submit handmade paintings of the Disney character for their Donald Duck 75th Anniversary Portrait Contest.
Theyre not allowing any computer graphics submissions or any renderings that arent finely crafted, so entrants better get their paintbrushes and canvases ready.
The winner will receive the prestigious Duckster Award, which hasnt been given out in 20 years because no art has measured up to standards.
Steven Clark, head of D23 figures that the best masterpieces will be painted by ultimate Donald Duck fans who can evoke the cartoons lovable yet cantankerous nature into a painted artwork.
If the painting is good enough to turn executives heads, the artist may even end up working for the Disney community, which is what happened to the last winner.
