‘Survivor’ Runner-Up Can’t Quit On Technology

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being deserted in the Brazilian jungle can’t wean anyone off modern conveniences.

That’s what Stephen Fishbach discovered after coming in second place on Survivor: Tocantins this past Sunday (May 17) and having to get re-acclimated with life outside the reality show.

Fishbach says letting go of his technology-deprived life in Brazil was easier than expected.

He explains, “It was such an intense experience. I lived without technology and thought, ‘I’m never gonna text again,’ since I managed just fine without it. I don’t need it.”

However, his anti-technology rant didn’t last long and Fishbach admits he was back to text messaging within 15 minutes of getting to the airport from his trip home.

Like many other Survivor cast-offs, Fishbach also made sure to “shovel as much food” into his mouth as possible upon his return to the real world.
